Kayna Huang

I'm a generalist design engineer and product designer, currently studying Cognitive Science (with a focus in AI and machine learning) and Political Science at Barnard College, Columbia University, and working on EEG and encoding models at the Visual Cognition Lab at Columbia.

A fascination with frontier technology and products is what started my career. Along the way I learned how to turn new technology into consumer products, and how to iterate on product experiences that serve millions of people. In the future, I will continue studying the relationship between humans and intelligent machines, and use human-centered design to build things that change how people live.

Outside of work, I love art, fashion, and facial aesthetics! I play the occasional game of poker. I was born and raised in Zhejiang, China, and New York is home now.

I grew up in an entrepreneur's family. It showed me how hard it is to build a business, and drove me into startups and frontier tech.
